Eugène Delacroix - Jakob wrestling the angel texture study

Well, not much to be seen from angel OR Jacob, but that was not the point of this exercise.
I do find it quite interesting that I find it much harder to work from photos or paintings rather than working from life, since my brain is confused on where to look first and some details are not as clear as if when I would stand before original.
I darkened it a bit for better effect. It does not look like original, but I did best to get something, even though compromise in exchange of quality lost trough scanning. Plus, I had to scann it in two parts, but god bless photoshop and ability to put this together.

pencils and inks

 Oh, just some dumb pencils taken with camera because I was too damn alzy to scan them
And inks of a commission on dA.

Yes, it took me eternity and half to do the inks, but I lost someone very close to me few weeks ago, and only thing I could do with pencil is break it.
But now I am fine, thanks for asking. I am not at peace about what happened, but fine.
